He has over 20 years of experience in corporate leadership, education and telecommunications
management. Before joining Kaizenvest, Nirav worked with the Tata Group in various roles. These include being the CEO of Tata ClassEdge and Tata Interactive Systems, Vice President of the Chairman's Office and the Head of Telecom Practice for Tata Consulting Services in the Asia-Pacific. In addition, his notable roles include leading several international projects and collaborations in the fields of telecommunications and aerospace, as well as serving as a Director on the boards of companies in and out of India.
Outside of the professional sphere, Nirav is the founding Co-Chair of the Impact Future Project's education track. He is also a member of the Council of Confederation of Indian Industries School Summit's steering committee. In 2013, Nirav was recognised as a Young India Leader by the British High Commission. He is also an Indian government nominee on the governing council of the Jagran Lakecity University. Nirav is also Trustee on the Board of the Global Schools Forum.
A firm believer in education-for-all, Nirav regularly speaks at events such as the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Global Education Conference and Africa Financial Services Investment Conference, with a focus on affordable non-state education, education technology and innovative financing mechanisms for promoting education access and quality.
For his contributions in the space of management, education, and technology, Nirav was awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Arts (Management) from Jagran Lakecity University. He also holds a Chevening Rolls-Royce Science, Innovation and Policy Leadership Programme certification from the University of Oxford - Said Business School, and a MDP, Telecommunications Strategy and Marketing certification from INSEAD.
